History | As a kid, I always felt that everyone else got more toys than I did. When I was older, out on my own with my first "big boys" job, I started collecting action figures from many of my favorite characters and shows. Iron Man, Lego Bionicle, various Manga Robots, and Spawn are my primary collections. | ||

| COMIC BOOKS | More than books with pictures. |  |

History | I started collecting comics in 1978. Except for one series in particular, I only bought the random interesting issue, and had a wide range of DC and Marvel titles. The one series I did collect, was Star Wars. In late 1979, I discovered Iron Man, and those two series have been the backbone of my comics collection until the mid 90's. >>> | ||

| CONSUMPTION | A cigar and scotch will make it all go away... | |

History | One of my favorite things to do, hanging with the boys, is tossing back a 12-year-old Balvenie Doublewood single-malt scotch and puffin' on a Macanudo Maduro cigar. My fondness for craft beers has grown over the years too. I will be reviewing various liquors, craft beers, and cigars. | ||

History | MMA has erupted in the US primarily due to the success of the UFC. I'll have to admit that while I was interested in "kung-fu" before this recent phenomenon, I never followed the sport until Spike TV launched The Ultimate Fighter. One of my obsessions has been to index every UFC fight, and now I am working on the new team-based IFL, and Japan's Pride FC leagues. | ||

History | Music has always been important to me throughout my life - both listening to and performing. It has been strong in my family tree too as both my parents, an uncle, my paternal grandparents and a great aunt all were gifted musicians. I never had any aspirations to take it any further than a school activity, but I did letter twice in marching band and was promoted to the upper classman symphonic band as a sophomore. But I really am not here to talk about my non-existent music career, but I am here to selfishly promote my favorite bands and groups. | ||
