Session 79 Synopsis

Day 1:  [After Rourmed and crew escape,]  Rungar, Darth, Tharivol and Drass' 
body retreat to the Temple of Pelor in Verbobonc. Synglys, Elly, and Lobo 
retreat to the abandoned blacksmiths shop in Greyhawk. You sell off most of 
Algus' belongings to pay for Drass' True Resurrection. Darth retrieves Synglys, 
Elly, and Lobo, and brings them back to Verbobonc.
 
Day 2: Rungar destroys the 11  [neutered] Arrows of Hextor by popping all of the 
rubies off, removing all of the fletching, and bending the shafts. The rubies 
are exchanged for untraceable gems, most of the fletching is given to the Temple 
of Pelor, and the shafts are returned to the Temple of Hextor via a running 
Unseen Servant. You buy horses and head out towards Gutterbok Castle to seek out 
Zorcon's council.
 
Day 3: Camp at a small village along the journey
 
Day 4: Arrive at the castle, make appointment to see Zorcon. Spend day relaxing 
and drinking.
 
Day 5: Brought to Zorcon. Interrupt his training and invited to join in the 
practice session. Provided weapons that only deal non-lethal damage. Synglys, 
Darth, Rungar, Elly, 4 guards and one of Zorcon's companions put up a valiant 
effort, but only manage for about 18 seconds before put down. Afterwards, you 
meet with Zorcon and his advisors. You tell him nearly everything you have 
learned about Dogfish, Iblis, the missing blacksmiths, Roumord and the assassin 
he hired.  [i.e. certain that Amadora has neutralized 3 of 6 archers, Dogfish is 
assembling the Amulet of Dragons, Iblis has made deals with Hextor, and the name 
of the hired assassin] Zorcon was grateful for passing on the information, and 
he offered gifts  [of the groups choice]  in return.
 
Day 6 & 7: R&R in Gutterbok city.
 
Day 8: Meet with Zorcon to receive gifts. [Note: Now the whole party possess an 
item Zorcon & his advisors are intimately familiar with,  and that has Drawmij's 
Instant Summons]
