Session 77 Synopsis

After investigating the disappearance of blacksmiths throughout the countryside, 
the group eventually traveled to Greyhawk. Questions led them to a half-orc 
master-smith, but he had been hired away a few weeks past. Before a positive 
connection could be made between the blacksmith disappearances and the half-orc, 
Darth received a message ...

Rourmed contacted Darth (telepathically?) requesting a meeting on neutral turf - 
claiming to want to put an end to the dispute between both groups. The meeting 
was to take place during afternoon meal at a tavern across town. The group 
complied with the request.

At the meeting, Rourmed said that even though there had been heavy casualties on 
both sides, he was willing to consider that a draw, and even any loot won by 
each side was inconsequential. His terms were for the immediate return of the 11 
Arrows of Hextor in trade for a truce. Posturing on both sides ended when Rungar 
told Rourmed that all of the arrows had been de-magiced!! About that time 
*everyone* grabbed for their swords!

Combat is not yet resolved (only 30 seconds from first drawn sword). It is a 
tough battle, although it is in favor of Rourmed. Tharivol had ran for cover, 
and began pulling his bracelet of friends. Elly & Darth (near death) has just 
been evacuated to the back alley, leaving Synglys and Drass alone in the tavern. 
Lobo was hit by some sort of force cage, and remains trapped. Rungar (also near 
death) is outside, at the front of the tavern. Algus has been slain by Rourmed.
