Session 74 Synopsis

A few buff spells are spread throughout the group. Elly & Synglys sneak back 
into Rourmed's penthouse. Synglys inadvertently sets off a sonic concussive 
alarm, shattering nearby windows and alerting the entire building. Elly shoots 
Delka (the 1/2 dragon) with an Arrow of Hextor, but fails to send the beast 
away. Rourmed responds by utterly destroying Elly and scattering dust and her 
belongings to the floor.

Draas and Darth, carried by Lobo crash into one of the penthouse's windows (via 
airwalk), catching two of Rourmed's associates (Flick & Storba) scampering to 
get dressed & grabbing essential equipment. Tharivol & Rungar (aided by fly) 
crash through an adjacent window and into an empty room.

In less than 20 seconds, the group has killed Delka and Flick. Two more of 
Roumed's crew arrive to aid in the battle, but are too late. A fiery explosion 
rocks the center of the building on the floor below, and a conspicuous stranger 
(Algus) is standing nearby. The remaining 5 enemies manage to regroup and 
disappear.

A few minutes are spent searching the rooms and bodies. Algus had apparently 
been doing the same thing during the battle, and happened to pick up a few of 
Elly's belongings. He very reluctantly turned them over. Thinking that Rourmed's 
group was on the ropes, and at a highly vulnerable state, Draas attempts to scry 
on them. Succeeding, Drass sees the group huddled in a circle, donning weapons & 
gear, in a well stocked 30' x 40' room (it is wall to wall with weapons, armor, 
crates, chests, and supplies). It is apparently some sort of storage room or 
base. Strangely though, there are no doors to this room. After a few minutes of 
watching, Rourmed pulls out a scroll, and splashes a small pouch of tiny 
diamonds into a brazier.

While Drass spies on the enemy, Tharivol heals the damage among the party using 
one of Drass' wands. Best guess says that the enemy is going to make a counter 
attack in the very near future. There is only 2-3 minutes to re-buff, and 
teleport en-mass to Rourmed's location before his spell is complete. Algus 
offers his help in the risky plan to get the drop on Rourmed's group for the 
second time.
