Session 84 Summary

Day 1: The party spreads out and looks for the best direction to go. Elly spots 2 rocs in the sky approaching the party’s position. The two birds swoop down and snatch up Synglys and Lobo. As the beasts climb up and away, Darth teleports onto the back of one, and Eretrist throws up a force wall in front of the other. Eventually one bird is killed, and the other escapes, while the party remains intact and safe.

Day 2: On the morning of the next day, Elly picks up the trail of 4 giants and 6 quadrapeds. Mid-day Elly spots a steel predator in the distance, and it leads the group to spot a second approaching from the rear. The two are easily dispatched with the aid of silver weapons.

The party continues following the trail of the giants. In the late afternoon, it is discovered that the “followers” were actually the “followees”, as 6 hell hounds and 4 demonic fire giants charge the party - throwing burning slags of iron along the way. With the party being unprepared, Rungar yells out to the group to retreat to the last camp site. Tharivol, Darth, and Eretrist teleports everyone back to safety.

Draas, Elly, Synglys, and Tharivol spend 7 rounds buffing the group, then everyone ports back to the ambush site. Elly picks up the trail of the attackers, and the party uses their windwalk wand to zoom in from behind the enemy, in a successful surprise attack.
