This
campaign is our first serious foray into an RPG for over a decade. We have
started a few campaigns here and there, but none really lasted more than a
handful of sessions. And even the ones that lasted, saw a fair amount of
player rotation and re-starts.
I only owned 4 of the original AD&D books, and never played 2ed. When 3ed came out I picked up the PHB, and suggested to my group to start-up a new D&D campaign. Everyone was up for the task, and on January 6th, 2001, we started off on a new adventure. We decided to play through the WotC published adventure series of 8 modules. This was also going to be a first for us an no one in my group ever leveled a character higher than 10th level, so there was some excitement at the prospect of taking characters from first to twentieth!! The last session was completed on March 25th, 2006. While no one reached 20th level, three of the characters (the three original players) made it to 18th. |
